Alejandro Santamaria has 16 years of experience in software development applied to market and corporate finance.

 

Alejandro worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Kyriba where he contributed in the development of the application’s financial transaction management used by corporate treasurers worldwide.

 

From 2015 to 2019, he worked at Societe Generale’s Equity Derivatives trading floor to develop a real-time position monitoring application for Equity Finance traders.

 

From 2012 to 2014 he worked as a quantitative researcher and trader of futures and options for UBP Asset Management. He held a similar position as a quant of commodities futures at Global Advisors from 2011-2012.  He also worked as an IT consultant from 2009 to 2011 at Exane Equity Derivatives trading floor developing real-time UI trading tools. Alejandro started his career with Arie in 2006 where he worked as a quantitative researcher in the Hedge Funds division of Societe Generale Asset Management.

Alejandro received a B.Sc in Computer Engineering from University of Michigan and a Masters Degree in Financial Engineering at ESSEC
