Geoffroy Gridel joined Trajectoire Capital Group in June 2021 as a Head Portfolio Management.

 

Previously, Geoffroy worked at Union Bancaire Privée since 2011 as a senior portfolio manager in the Cross Asset Solution team, where he was managing funds on different asset classes with a focus on volatility and options to hedge a given risk or generate relative outperformance.

Prior to that, he participated in setting up the Lyxor Asset Management platform in Hong Kong and managed an Asian bucket of global funds. Previously he was with Société Générale Asset Management Alternative Investments (“SGAM AI”), which he joined in 2002 as a Hedge Fund Salesman and Structurer.

 

In 2005, still with SGAM AI, he became a hedge fund manager in the volatility arbitrage programmes, with a focus on directional derivative strategies. Geoffroy is a graduate of French engineering school Grande Ecole Ponts et Chaussées, holds a postgraduate diploma from Sciences Po (IEP) in Applied Economics and is a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA).
