Trajectoire Capital Group is an asset manager expert in volatility trading and risk management.
The firm was founded by Arié Assayag in 2018 with a unique mission: To make his team’s decades of expertise in volatility investment accessible to institutional investors to improve their capital preservation and portfolio diversification.
Our investment philosophy is based on empirical evidence that volatility markets remain highly inefficient, providing opportunities to build absolute return strategies with always an emphasis on risk management.

Arié Assayag
Founder
Arie Assayag, Founder of Trajectoire, has a long history of success in trading, hedge funds, absolute return asset management, tail risk protection and business development.
He started his career in 1986 as one of the pioneers in volatility trading and option investing in prime financial centres (Paris, Tokyo, Chicago, New York, Frankfurt and London). After winning several years in a row “Best Option House of the Year” award by Risk Magazine, Arie was recognized as one of the best FX option traders globally.
In 2000, Arie took the responsibility of setting up Societe Generale Asset Management Hedge Funds activity and built up a $12.7bn unit that included over $500m in volatility overlays and volatility hedge funds (the Short Bias and Macro Volatility funds were both winners as “Best Volatility Hedge Funds” in 2008 at Hedgeweek and Eurohedge).
In 2009, Arie launched Nexar Capital Group, focused on hedge fund investments and volatility strategies with the backing of Aquiline (a $8bn Private Equity fund specialized in financial services investing).
In 2012, after growing Nexar to $3.5bn, Arie sold the company to UBP and became its Global Head of Alternatives.
In 2016, Arie left UBP and moved to the US to manage his family office and became involved in philanthropic activities (member of the investment committee of United Way South Florida, international member of the board of governor of the Peres Centre for Peace and Innovation).
In 2018, Arie founded Trajectoire Capital Group.
